I think every entrepreneur has asked the question… “Should I use Paypal?”. I asked that at 19 years old in my dorm room ten years ago while designing customized Myspace pages, minimum flyer jobs, and Twitter backgrounds. They’re the “Go-To” Merchant that we all have been familiar with for over a decade now. People use them to collect payments and even make payments. They almost seem “limitless” in most cases, which is amazing to say about any company in general.
So, we’re back to our question:
In Paypal We trust?
If you’re making a payment through Paypal, sure. I think it’s a place where you can comfortably spend your money and know it’ll be protected. I also think it’s very easy to navigate the website, and not really difficult for a customer at any age to use their services.
If you’re the Seller, I’ll think twice. Disputes have became a tool too easily accessed by the customers paying and there is no form of seller protection you can actually lean on. Disputes have actually began to tarnish their company’s reputation to the point most of our clients are asking if there are other options outside of Paypal.
Keeping it short and sweet… it really depends on your preferences. But, take our “smidget” of advice above seriously. We gave you the short version, and we’ll dive a lot deeper in future articles.
